“This was a fantastic trip! Hilmer, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very safe with him driving especially with the wind blowing so fast. I would recommend anyone that’s planning to come to Iceland to do this tour, whether in group or alone. I loved everything about it. All the people we met on tour, we won’t forget. Each hotel that we stayed at had great service and great food! A little tip, make sure you follow the guide for what clothes to bring because you can get wet or it can be very cold, so plan accordingly. Safe travels!”

Highlight would be climbing the glacier. Would not recommend the whale watching, takes too much time and is too cold in the winter. “We saw a lot of waterfalls. The ice cave was nice. The glacier walk looked really fun based on my travel companions’ report and pictures. We missed out on the lagoon boat ride because of wind, but the lagoon itself was beautiful. We didn’t see much ice on crystal beach, but I wasn’t expecting much because of the season.
