“Excellent facilities and hot tubs including the steam room. I loved it! The lunch and coffee bar was very slow however. It took about 40 mins for a simple order to arrive. I had a long drive afterward so time mattered. Maybe you need an extra staff member on for lunch? Overall 9/10… would have been 10/10 if lunch had arrived in a reasonable time.”

“The Fontana wellness center was wonderful! Would recommend this be moved to the end of the tour instead of right before Thingevellir national park. Great guide Regina during the morning portion had a lot of information. Margaret was also a good guide for the afternoon. Nice buses and plenty of stops for clean bathrooms.”

“The places you visit are GORGEOUS. It takes more than 2 hours to get to the national park from Hella and once you get there the hike is beautiful, and fairly easy (only 3 hours of walking). Considering days are so long in the summer, they could probably start a bit later or finish a bit later and go on a longer hike. The hot springs at the end are amazing. It’s overall a good tour. Our guide was super nice.”

“Filip, our guide, was wonderful! He was genuinely one of the best tour guides I have ever had. His curated music playlist for the trip added a lot to the ambiance, and his stories were great. I am still humming a couple of the songs he played, and I found his stories interesting and relatable. The lava caves were out of this world. The waterfalls were beautiful, and there was a tasty buffet lunch.”

“Our guide was great and a skilled driver. However, the trip got off to a rocky start because we had to wait an extra 45 minutes for our bus. The bus wasn’t available and someone called out sick, so there was no driver and an alternate had to be called in. Once we got on the road, it was nice.”

“Absolutely loved the Silfra snorkeling experience - was apprehensive of the cold water, but can say the equipment was superb and great guidance throughout (wore double layers of top and bottom thermals). The sky Lagoon was also a very pleasant experience and glad we were able to switch day to suit our plans. Great value for money through GYG and will certainly use again around the world.”
