“Our guide Devin was knowledgeable, entertaining and went above and beyond to ensure we had an opportunity to view the northern lights! He provided historical and cultural background about Iceland as well as scientific information concerning the Aurora as he drove us all over, north of Reykjavik, stopping several times at different spots, each time setting up his camera to try to find them. Finally, at around 1 AM, he said that it didn't look promising, and was time to turn back. We were advised to immediately email the tour company to reschedule a second trip, per the contract. As we drove back to Reykjavik, though, we couldn't help notice…”

“The tour operator cancelled the tour and said they would refund in 5-7 business days, they didn't re book us so we found another operator via tourist infomariton in Reykjavik.”

“low level red lighting would help on the lower deck as I couldn't see much down there but I also appreciate the need to have it dark for the purposes of the trip. the guide and other staff were great, they helped to take photos of me and my son when the aurora showed up and kept everyones spirits high as it wasnt till the way back thatchers saw them and we thought we might not get the chance.”

“We were in a place far outside of city to witness the Aurora. Weather was so cold, even bones start to freeze. So exhausting waiting for it. Everything disappeared after witnessing the Aurora Borealis. In the end, it was all worth it!”
