“This is horseback riding so what’s not to love? I had a great experience. I try to go horseback riding in every country I visit so I’m not a newbie but I’m not a professional. People who have never been on a horse before did fine on this tour. We also had people as young as 10-ish and as old as 70s. There is no step to get in the horse but the Icelandic horses are short and the people at the form will give you a boost if needed. “It was fantastic! Dress warm! Warmer than you foresee in the weather forecast, it will be beautiful but super windy. Get ski gloves if you have, can be wet. I was lucky to wear wet/windproof on top of my ski suit. But I could feel that other people from the group were freezing. Luckily they provide warm drinks afterwards. “Our tour guide was Barbora and she was great! We lucked out and got a private tour. We were able to have coffee when we arrived and go into the stable before we had to watch the safety video. We got to personally know our guide which was great! When we arrived back at the barn we were able to hangout with the horses in the stable before we left. Would definitly recommend!”
